Every three months we load up a car with some of our treasures and take to the road. We will travel to the public libraries in Rolfe, Pocahontas and Laurens to set up special displays from September to May. Look below to see what is currently on exhibit.

This display will give you a glimpse into foods we don't prepare much any more from egg coffee and sauerkraut to Scandanavian lesfe and homemade butter.
We scoured our shelves and storage boxes to assemble a group of interesting textiles from our colection. Clothing, lace, as well as embroidered and woven items are all included.
In this display, you'll learn about customs associated with death and mourning in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Touching true stories of the untimely deaths of an infant, a woman in childbirth and a WWI soldier are featured.
